  1. Re: Maximized application windows overlay the dock

I've seen this behaviour too in 22.04. My 'solution' was just to move the dock to the bottom. Which is no solution I know.
  2. [SOLVED] Re: Ubuntu 22.04 won't boot following update to kernel 6.5.0-34-generic

Well I followed my inclination and it didn't work (as is often the case).

  3. [SOLVED] Ubuntu 22.04 won't boot following update to kernel 6.5.0-34-generic

    It stops forever at

The only way out I can find is long press of the power button.

    [SOLVED] Re: 22.04 too old?

I would hazard a guess that he's saying that gnome developers aren't interested in issues with gnome 42.9 any more, and you'd need to seek a solution through ubuntu developers. They don't live on...

Re: Getting regular freezes on 22.04 LTS

  7. [SOLVED] Re: [Ubuntu 24.04] Failing to install xubuntu

    Possibly related to this.

[xubuntu] Re: Ubuntu 22.04 doesnt wake from sleep

So I suspect your problem is that (a) (x)ubuntu doesn't wake on mouse click and (b) wifi is turned off during suspend/sleep.
I'm afraid I don't know a workaround for either, and I doubt if there is...

Re: Ubuntu's Calculator is wrong ?

    Instinctively:
    I think 48÷8y where y is 6 = 1.
    Whereas:
    I think 48÷8×y where y is 6 = 36.
So I accept the multiplication operator implicit in 8y as taking precedence over left right working. Or...

People then feel upset and betrayed if they...
